After we left Lincoln City, Or, we traveled north to Astoria, Or.  It is along the ocean and where the Columbia River empties into the ocean.  I wish Terry and I liked seafood.  That is just about all you see here.  Lots of salmon, tuna, and crabs. The ocean is nothing like the east coast.  Very windy and COLD!!!!  We were here during the 4th of July week.  There is a state park across from us and the beach is so different from what we are used to.  To go down to the beach you have to go down a huge bank.  No one in the water except wind surfers.  We stopped at Tillamook Cheese factory on our way here.  We enjoyed the tour of the factory.  Tomorrow we are going to Portland.  Staying until Friday and then on to Seattle and our cruise.
