We are staying at a park along the Snake River on the Idaho,  Washington border.  This is where Lewis and Clark camped on their way west.  The town we are staying in is called Clarkston, Wa and across the river is Lewiston, Idaho.  The Clear River empties into the Snake River here, so there is water everywhere.  As we watched boats on the river today a bald eagle flew over our heads.  Beautiful sight!!  We took a drive down the Snake River to Hells Canyon.  We are so glad to stumbled on this area.  Leaving tomorrow for Missoula, Mt.
