We are staying for a few days along the Columbia River on the Washington border.  We can set and watch the ships traveling towards Portland, Or.  This river is so much wider than the Ohio River and I guess that is why big tankers can travel it.  Terry enjoys the ships and our rv is just a few feet from the water.  We drove to Mt. Hood. today.  Just can't believe we can still see snow in July.  The wind blows all the time and I just have given up on the hair thing!!!!  We will be leaving on Fri and then starting our cruise Sat. afternoon.  When we get back, my sister, Sallie and Bruce will spend a week in Seattle with us.
